Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BarnBeacon (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including barn managers, staff members, and horse owners who access the platform.
Description of Service
BarnBeacon is an intelligent barn operations platform that provides shift checklists, care recipes, exception workflows, owner digests, voice and photo logging, team coordination tools, and related barn management features. The Service includes both free tools and paid subscription plans as described on our pricing page.
User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. BarnBeacon reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our written consent.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any barn or organization.
Intellectual Property
The BarnBeacon platform, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation, is owned by BarnBeacon and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the barn and horse data you enter into the platform.
By using the Service, you grant BarnBeacon a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not sell your data to third parties.
Payment and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Limitation of Liability
BarnBeacon is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarnBeacon disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
BarnBeacon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.
BarnBeacon is a barn management tool and does not provide veterinary advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical decisions regarding your horses.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of account termination.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of BarnBeacon after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
