Getting Started with the Dashboard

The BarnBeacon Dashboard is your command center for daily barn operations. Access it at /dashboard after signing in.


Dashboard sections:

  • Today View: See your shift progress, alerts, recent activity, and upcoming events at a glance
  • Horse Roster: Browse and manage all horses with their care plans, health history, and owner contacts
  • Staff Management: View staff roster, shift assignments, and coverage status
  • Exception Tracker: Report and track barn exceptions with AI-powered triage
  • Reports: Generate owner digests, weekly summaries, and incident reports

    • Quick start:

  • Check the Alerts & Action Items section for urgent tasks
  • Review today's shift checklist and medication schedule
  • Use the horse roster to verify care plans are up to date
  • Report any exceptions immediately using the Exception Tracker

    • The AI assistant is available on every dashboard page to help you interpret data and take action.
