Managing Horse Profiles & Care Plans

The Horse Roster at /dashboard/horses lets you manage every horse in your barn with detailed profiles and care plans.


Horse profile features:

  • Care Plan tab: Feed cards, medication schedules, turnout plans, blanketing preferences, and special needs
  • Timeline tab: Chronological activity log filtered for each horse
  • Health tab: Medical notes, vet visit history, and incident records
  • Contacts tab: Owner, vet, and trainer contact information

    • Best practices:

  • Keep care plans updated when feed or medication changes occur
  • Review each horse's profile before vet/farrier visits
  • Use the search and filter features to quickly find horses that need attention
  • Check the "Needs Meds" and "Follow-Up" filters at the start of each shift
