Reports & Owner Digests Guide

The Reports section at /dashboard/reports helps you create professional updates and track barn operations over time.


Daily Owner Digest:

  • Select a date and horse (or all horses) to compile a daily summary
  • Click "Generate AI Digest" to create a professional, owner-friendly update
  • The AI compiles care activities, notable events, and upcoming items
  • Copy, print, or send the digest directly to owners

    • Weekly Summary:

  • View aggregated stats: feedings, medications, turnout hours, incidents
  • Identify trends and patterns in barn operations
  • Share with barn management or board members

    • Incident Reports:

  • Review all exceptions by severity and type
  • Track resolution rates and response times
  • Export for insurance documentation or safety audits

    • Tips for great owner digests:

  • Be specific about what happened, not just what was scheduled
  • Mention positive observations ("Bella was energetic in turnout today")
  • Address any concerns factually and include next steps
  • Send digests at a consistent time each day
